Right out of college, Emily worked in Dallas, Texas, at a boutique consulting firm where she managed communications for clients in the legal, energy and transportation sectors. She has also held numerous internships in radio and TV journalism throughout her college career, which helped her understand the workings of a newsroom and the importance of forming strong relationships with the media.
Emily grew up in Dover, Ohio, and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and strategic communications from Miami University. She currently sits on the executive committee for the Young Professionals Council of Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
