Lauren joined Inspire as an account manager in February 2020 with a background in agriculture communications. She specializes in managing client accounts and relationships in the digital space.
Before coming to Inspire, Lauren worked for the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation, where she advocated for agriculture and farming in the Southeast U.S. She served as the director of digital media for six years for SCFB in Columbia, S.C. Focused on digital communications, she has experience in photography and videography, social media and legislative outreach. During college, she interned with Osborn + Barr in Kansas City, on marketing projects for clients in the animal health corridor.
Lauren is a 2014 graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S in agriculture communication and a minor in production agriculture. While there, she was involved in the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, university scholars’ programs and study abroad, including trips to study agriculture and environmental conservation in Chile, Brazil, Ireland and Costa Rica.
Lauren grew up on her family’s row crop and beef cattle farm in Marion County. Her passion for agriculture comes from her experiences on the farm, her participation in 4-H and FFA and her work alongside farmers and ranchers throughout the U.S.
She loves the outdoors and traveling, especially hiking and camping. She and her dog Piper take new adventures and road trips any chance they can. Around Columbus, she’s always looking for live music and the best glass of red wine.
What Inspires Me?
Nature. Whether I’m hiking in the mountains, watching the sunset over the ocean or visiting a picturesque farm, I admire the beauty of nature in all situations.
