Michelle Leitzy serves as a senior associate at Inspire and is everything a professional communicator should be — strategic, smart, talented, diligent and thoughtful. Whether developing and implementing a corporate communications plan, creating messaging for executives and stakeholders, or pitching media, Michelle is prepared, keeps her cool and knows how to deliver for her clients.
With 15 years of public relations and communications experience at agency, corporate and nonprofit settings, Michelle’s experience has provided her with opportunities to strategize, develop and implement communication plans for clients in the agriculture, healthcare, energy and building industries. Her specialties include strategic communications counsel and planning, internal and external communications and project management.
At Inspire, Michelle uses her expertise to ensure the successful development and management of multiple accounts by employing smart, thoughtful processes that her clients appreciate. She helps clients become better communicators, amplify their messages, build brand awareness, overcome challenges and create opportunities. She also manages the firm’s associate care program.
She has been described by others as having amazing drive and always putting her best foot forward no matter the situation. She can multi-task with the best of them and is able to handle high-stress situations with grace.
Michelle graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She currently serves on the marketing communications committee for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Michelle has also served on young professional steering committees at United Way of Central Ohio and the Columbus Museum of Art.
Outside of the office, you can find Michelle visiting a new city, reading a good book or trying to keep her rambunctious pup from destroying her home.
What Inspires Me?
Traveling, spending time outdoors (preferably in the sun) and living a healthy lifestyle with the occasional cupcake thrown in for good measure!
