The Project

In 2018, Bob Webb Homes engaged Inspire for a media relations campaign to raise awareness for its Show Home and participation in the 2018 BIA Parade of Homes.

The company was seeking to raise its profile among potential homeowners of all ages, further establishing itself as an industry thought leader and continuing to distinguish themselves as the premier luxury home builder in central Ohio.

At the onset of the project, Inspire conducted a media audit of the company and hosted a two-hour discovery session with the Bob Webb team. This allowed Inspire to mine for newsworthy stories, such as Bob Webb’s exclusive Messy Kitchen, and develop a timeline for media pitches leading up to the Parade of Homes.

Inspire developed a comprehensive editorial calendar of potential stories and created a media toolkit including leadership bios, a fact sheet and more. Inspire worked to secure several local media placements for Bob Webb Homes leading up to and through the 2018 Parade of Homes, further elevating the company as a leading home builder in central Ohio.

The company has enlisted the help of Inspire once again to support its 60th anniversary activities in 2019

The Results

  • Inspire secured 15 local media placements throughout the four-month campaign, reaching an estimated audience of more 14 million central Ohioans. The editorial value of the media placements totaled nearly $425,000.
  • Bob Webb Homes received several meaningful mentions from news outlets such as Columbus Monthly, The Columbus Dispatch, Business First as well as all of the local TV stations.
